So, how does a cricket team like the Chennai Super Kings generate revenue?
One significant source is brand sponsorship. IPL franchises partner with brands to offer visibility through logo endorsements on jerseys, headgear, and team kits. The larger the logo, the more the brand pays. Sponsorship revenue accounts for around ~20-30% of an IPL team's revenue.
